Salesforce unveils Agentforce 360 to enable Agentic Enterprises.

Zahra Bahrololoumi, Salesforce UK & Ireland CEO, delivered the keynote address at Salesforce World Tour event at London’s Excel Centre. Bahrololoumi talked about the launch of Agentforce 360, which she described as a new platform that connects customers, employees, operations, and agents in a seamless way. Bahrololoumi suggests organisations will have to evolve into “agentic enterprises.” A transformative business approach where humans and AI agents work together seamlessly to enhance business operations, such as customer loyalty and operational efficiency.

Bahrololoumi drew a picture of the current revolution in AI. Noting the widespread use of AI agents in personal lives, but highlighting the lag in enterprise capabilities. The gap between customer expectations and enterprise AI capabilities was emphasised, with high costs and low production rates of many AI projects attributed to poor data quality and bolt-on technology. “This is the price of too much DIY AI, and we know a better way.” she adds.

Bahrololoumi noted that Salesforce saved $100 million annually by adopting Agentforce, showcasing agentic enterprise in practice. Furthermore, the platform is being used to elevate every team, from sales to marketing, and how customer feedback has shaped its development. Agentforce 360 reimagines the enterprise by bringing agents into every app, ensuring predictability, accuracy, and context.

Key steps to becoming an Agentic Enterprise

Bahrololoumi added, “I think we are at a very pivotal moment. In every company, every industry, AI, is transforming our lives.” As a result, the key characteristics of Agentic Enterprise that businesses need to embrace to start that transformation change include:

  • Spread humans and AI agents together across different business functions to grow customer loyalty and deepen trust. This approach should enable employees to achieve more and make smarter decisions, while also supporting a leaner operation.
  • AI is not just a bolt-on technology; it is deeply integrated into business processes. AI agents need to be connected to systems to understand context and respect required permissions, as documented by guardrails. Furthermore, enterprises must focus on accuracy, security, and governance.
  • Practical Implementation: Bring AI agents into every app (sales, service, marketing, commerce), orchestrating decision-making across different functions and teams. However, success can only be achieved with access to comprehensive data and context.

As Bahrololoumi emphasised, “The time to prepare is now for the Agentic Enterprise.” It is not a future concept, but a present opportunity for businesses to fundamentally reimagine how they operate.

Enterprise Times: What this means for businesses.

Zahra Bahrololoumi’s keynote address builds on her keynote address earlier in the year, as well as Marc Benioff’s Dreamforce Keynote in San Francisco in October. Agentforce 360 is Salesforce’s new Agentic platform. Last year, Salesforce massively jumped on the Agentic AI bandwagon. This year, there was a lot of talk around the subject, and now possibly the hype is bearing fruit with Agentforce 360.

There are still some grey areas and unanswered questions regarding how enterprises migrate to Agentforce 360. What is the pricing or support model that will support the platform. Furthermore, enterprises still need to get to grips with the quality of data they manage, often sitting in isolated silos and not integrated into sensible datasets. Fundamental challenges that businesses still need to overcome before they can start their journey to becoming an agentic enterprise.
