Clipse’s performance premieres Friday during the NBA Nightcap post-game show on Prime Video. Each installment of the series will feature two songs. One song will air during the live NBA on Prime broadcast. A second song will be available exclusively to Amazon Music customers in the Amazon Music app right after.
The performances are filmed literally “in the paint” on a regulation half-court. This court is located at Prime Video’s 13,000-square-foot NBA studio at Amazon MGM Studios in Culver City. The state-of-the-art space features more than 2,300 LED screens and 22 cameras. Consequently, this creates an immersive environment where music and basketball culture can come together.
The premiere comes as Clipse celebrates five GRAMMY® nominations. They also recently released their critically acclaimed album LET GOD SORT EM OUT. This is the duo’s first full-length project in 16 years. The album was executive produced by Pharrell Williams. It also features guest appearances from Kendrick Lamar, Tyler, The Creator, Nas, and more. This event caps a huge year for the group, which includes their GQ Men of the Year cover story and a sold-out U.S. tour.
More “In The Paint” segments will roll out throughout the 2025-2026 NBA season.
