Fred Berry Crooked Creek Nature Center invites visitors to enjoy trails and winter activities

The Fred Berry Crooked Creek Nature Center is transitioning to it’s winter schedule, but visitors have plenty to enjoy during the colder months. As the staff shifts towards more educational programs on and offsite, there are still outdoor activities that can be enjoyed during the winter season.Facility Manager Heather Pitman Tells KTLO News about their busy fall field trip season, hosting students from across the region.

The 421 acre facility was donated by Fred Berry in 1999 and is now a joint conservation and education project between the Arkansas Game and Fish Foundation and the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission.
