Flippin City Council to consider veto override


The Flippin City Council will meet Tuesday at 6 in the Flippin District Court Room, with the primary focus on a veto override presented by Councilwoman Jodi Howard.
In addition to the override consideration, council members will also hear a presentation from Councilwoman Lacie Bettencourt on the distribution of the city’s original 1% sales tax.




Other items on the agenda include discussion of a workshop led by Sam Pasthing and Mayor Hogan, review of 2025 Christmas bonuses, updates on the AML AD&D plan and AML legal defense program, approval of payment to city inspector Bill Higgins, and review of Arvest meeting minutes. Mayor Hogan will also introduce new business and close the meeting.

The public is encouraged to attend the meeting to witness deliberations on the veto override and other city business.
