Amazon’s Black Friday sale is already underway ahead of the year’s biggest shopping day, and you can score some pretty great early deals right now, including a Samsung 1TB microSDXC card for $79.99.
This ultrafast card is perfect for Android phones and tablets, drones, and even expanding the storage of your Steam Deck. For the more cultured, there’s also a sweet Shadow the Hedgehog variant, but it’s going to run you an extra $20. Honestly, it might be worth it.
Samsung is one of the best brands around for external storage, and its PRO Plus line of microSDXC cards featuring blazing fast read and write speeds of up to 180MB/s and 130MB/s, which is excellent for recording 4K footage on drones and action cams like GoPro.
MicroSD cards are also a great choice for easily expanding the storage of many of your daily devices, including Android phones, tablets, and even work with handheld gaming PCs like the Steam Deck or Asus ROG Xbox Ally X. With 1TB of storage, you’ll be able to store quite a few large games with room to spare.
While this microSD card does work with Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch Lite, it does not work with the Nintendo Switch 2, as those require special microSD Express cards.
