Starz Drops to $2.99 on Hulu in New Black Friday Streaming Deal
Most Black Friday streaming deals are already live, giving you the chance to stock up subscriptions at their lowest prices of the year. Hulu has matched most streaming service’s own discounts through Premium Channel Add-Ons.
Getting discounts through add-on bundles is a great solution for when you’re sick of having to check your streaming library across apps or track down different subscription bills every month. Starz, for example, has a funky library with tons of exclusives, but it’s a bit out of the way if you’re already subscribed to other services. Fortunately, from now until December 1, you can get a full year of Starz on Hulu for under $36.
Starz normally costs $10.99/mo and offers a pretty generous annual plan at $60.99. The Black Friday deal drops that price to $2.99/mo through Hulu, adding up to just under $36 over the course of a year. That’s $8 off your monthly bill that adds up to 45% less than the already discounted annual plan.
Starz first blew up in interest because of original series like Black Sails and Outlander. You also get a big and relatively wide spread of movies, including Spider Man: No Way Home, The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, and franchises like John Wick.
It’s where you can stream the Now You See Me movies before checking out the new sequel and also where you’ll find the Borderlands movie, if you still haven’t experienced that. Not saying you have to, just saying you could.
All in all, I’d recommend Starz to anyone who’s itching for a more unique library or who primarily uses streaming services for blockbuster movie nights. You’ll always find something, and it’s a great opportunity to find something the entire world hasn’t talked about on Twitter (sorry, X) yet.
If you’re not already a Hulu subscriber, you can get 12 months of Disney+ and Hulu together for $4.99/mo. HBO Max’s ad-supported plan has also dropped to $2.99/mo. On the ad-free side, Apple TV is down to $4.99/mo while Crunchyroll has knocked $20 off its Mega Fan annual plan.
