FRACKVILLE – As the Mountain City celebrates its sesquicentennial, the community wants to strike up the band with musicians and performers new and old.

Organizers are looking to put together an alumni band bringing together ex-Frackville, North Schuylkill, and Cardinal Brennan members for the Frackville Sesquicentennial Parade.

The parade is set for Saturday, June 27 at 6:30pm

“You can be a lifelong resident of the town, a new resident of the town, a friend of the town, anyone who has connections to Frackville and wants to participate is more than welcome to do so,” organizers say.

They’re looking for former Mountaineer, Spartan, and Charger musicians, bandfront members, and cheerleaders.

If that’s you, and you’re interested, sign up here by January 31, 2026.

Three practices are expected to be held in late May or early June.

The band will be organized by Matt Tenaglia (mtenaglia@warwicksd.org) and Christopher Evans (cjevans@bmsd.org), and the cheerleader contact is Melissa Tenaglia (metenaglia@northschuylkill.net).
