Bolin Technology Expands Global Presence With Partnership In Japan

Bolin Technology, a designer and manufacturer of professional PTZ cameras and AV over IP solutions, is partnering with Nippon RAD of Tokyo. The strategic partnership marks Bolin’s first in Japan and represents a major step in strengthening its presence across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region — an emerging market for IP-based broadcast and ProAV technologies.

Through this new agreement, Nippon RAD will serve as a strategic business partner representing Bolin’s entire line of PTZ cameras and accessories in Japan, providing local sales, technical support and demonstration capabilities for Bolin products.

Founded in Tokyo, Nippon RAD serves a broad range of industries including IoT, AI development, enterprise technology and AV. The company’s Broadcast/AV division brings deep experience and connections within Japan’s professional video and integration markets — “making it an ideal partner to help expand Bolin’s footprint in one of the world’s most advanced broadcast technology environments,” Bolin says.

“We are excited to welcome Nippon RAD to the Bolin family as our strategic partner and first official reseller in Japan, said Kyle Lo, Bolin CEO. “Their deep experience in broadcast and AV markets, combined with their local market knowledge and technical expertise makes them an ideal partner. We look forward to working together to deliver outstanding solutions and support to Japanese customers.”

Meanwhile, Takayuki Otsuka, Nippon Rad president-CEO, says: “We are deeply honored to become the first sales agent in Japan for Bolin Technology, a company with a strong global track record and outstanding customers. We are delighted to offer their products, featuring superior mechanisms and transmission technology, to our Japanese customers. Our company provides engineering capabilities in proposing total systems related to AV, including advanced display management systems, manufacturing DX, IoT, and AI image analysis. Incorporating these high-performance cameras into our lineup will enable us to provide seamless solutions from input to output, which is truly remarkable.”

Bolin says the partnership positions it alongside other major global camera and imaging brands headquartered in Japan and “underscores the company’s growing influence and footprint as a global technology innovator in the PTZ camera and AV over IP markets for application in remote production, live broadcasting, virtual production, live streaming, Pro AV, education and corporate spaces.”

The strategic partnership announcement comes ahead of the Inter BEE Show in Chiba, Japan, where Nippon RAD will showcase Bolin’s line of indoor/outdoor PTZ cameras and AV over IP solutions. The companies have also been jointly participating in regional shows across Japan in recent months, introducing Bolin’s technology to local system integrators and end users.
