A Woodbury man was sentenced to serve 30 years in federal prison after entering a guilty plea earlier this year for running a sextortion operation targeting children.
In March of 2025, Timothy Lennard Gebhart, 38, pleaded guilty to two counts of child pornography production, one count of child pornography distribution, and one count of interstate communication with the intent to extort.
Gehart had reportedly posed as a teenager, targeting minors from 2021 to 2023 on social media apps, convincing victims to make CSAM on multiple occasions.

Gebhart would then reportedly distribute the CSAM on his phone and computer, and then threaten to send the photos and videos to the victim’s family unless they gave him money, valuable items, or more CSAM material.
Following his imprisonment, Gebhart will be placed on supervised release for 10 years.
