Two teenagers were rescued after falling through the ice on a Becker County lake on Tuesday.
The Becker County Sheriff’s Office said they received a report of two teenage boys who had fallen through the ice on Straight Lake in Osage at around 2:51 p.m.
The boys, aged 13 and 14, were reportedly ice fishing while sitting in an Otter Sled when they tried to move across the ice and fell through.
Authorities arrived, broke through the ice and got both teens safely in a boat. Law enforcement added that neither boy was injured.
The sheriff’s office is advising everyone to stay off all area lakes at this time.
