The body of the Marion County woman, reported missing by family members last Thursday, was discovered Friday morning. Marion County Sheriff Gregg Alexander says a family member found the body in a wooded area near the woman’s home. The rural Yellville woman’s name has not been released.
Alexander said the woman shared her residence with Liverett. Jail records in Greene County show Liverett had an address is Doe Run, Missouri, which is a small community about one hour south of St. Louis.
On Monday, Alexander said investigators have been busy pursing leads, collecting evidence and interviewing witnesses in Arkansas and Missouri. He says they have executed several search warrants as the investigation continues.
The sheriff says they are still awaiting autopsy results from the Arkansas State Crime lab to determine positive identification as well as the cause and manner of death.
