Veset Unlocks Instant Access To Cloud Playout With New Self-Service Subscription Offering

Cloud playout solution provider Veset has launched a new self-service subscription portal enabling broadcasters, content owners and service providers immediate access to cloud playout platform, Veset Nimbus.

Veset says content owners “need to be flexible, agile and able to act quickly to respond to rapidly changing market dynamics and to meet evolving viewer preferences. At the same time, there’s also a growing demand for access to quick self-service experiences. With this new self-service web facility, Veset is enabling customers to quickly and easily sign up online to its cloud playout service, Veset Nimbus.”

Users benefit from instant access and frictionless onboarding, so they can start creating and managing professional linear channels in the cloud immediately. This online subscription facility simplifies the procurement process and speeds up time to market because users can sign up online to use the service, all without a prior demonstration, PoC, or sales contract needing to be agreed. The service can also be used to sign up for a limited time trial of a fully functional Veset Nimbus product.

Veset Nimbus is an enterprise-grade, all-in-one, SaaS cloud playout platform for advanced channel management, designed to streamline professional linear channel operations with high levels of operational complexity. With Veset Nimbus, broadcasters, content owners and services providers can create and manage high-quality channels entirely in the cloud, for delivery to any distribution platform, from traditional terrestrial digital, satellite, cable, to FAST/OTT.

Gatis Gailis, Veset CEO-founder, says: “While cloud-based solutions such as Veset Nimbus meet the need for media technology that is flexible, scalable, and efficient, content owners also want a simplified buying journey. This new subscription offering makes it even easier and quicker for content providers to create and launch their new channels. They can now go on the Veset website, choose a playout package, subscribe, pay by card, then start using the service straight away. The new subscription facility lets content owners come up with a great idea, then spin up a new channel, all in the space of a few hours.”
