League One Volleyball is bringing another professional sports team to Minnesota, with a new team set to debut in 2027.

LOVB already has six teams across the United States, in Houston, Austin, Atlanta, Madison, Nebraska and Salt Lake.
Minnesota gets new Women’s Pro Volleyball team
According to the league, LOVB chose Minnesota as an expansion franchise because the organization already had a presence in the state, with programs such as Kokoro Volleyball in Lake Elmo and M1 Volleyball in Bloomington.
LOVB states that it aims to create direct pathways for youth players to transition into professional sports, enabling them to develop their skills locally rather than overseas.
At this time, the exact location of where the Minnesota LOVB team will play has not been announced.
