MAHANOY CITY – The Mahanoy City Elks Lodge held their annual Veterans Day ceremony this week and made a contribution to the local veterans post.
Tom Dobeck, a bronze star recipient, served as guest speaker.
The Elks donated $800 to the American Legion Post 74 in Mahanoy City to assist them in purchasing, preparing, and serving veterans and their families with Thanksgiving dinners.
