Erratic driver strikes multiple vehicles on Route 61

FRACKVILLE – State troopers are investigating a road rage incident in which a car forced one driver off the road and rammed several other vehicles.

According to State Police at Frackville, troopers were called around 8:30am Tuesday for a silver Ford Focus driving erratically on Interstate 81 and later on Route 61 south.

Troopers said the vehicle exited the Interstate onto Route 61, entered the construction zone, and forced a vehicle off the road before ramming another vehicle three times.

The car continued south, striking multiple vehicles before the driver abandoned the vehicle and ran.

The driver was taken into custody.

Troopers are seeking anyone with information or video of the incident to email Trooper Adam Sajone at ASajone@pa.gov.
