Police asking for help to find suspect who shot, carjacked man in St. Paul

The St. Paul Police Department is asking for help to find a suspect who shot a man in the leg during a carjacking on Friday.

The crime happened on the 800 block of Forest Street around 10:45 a.m., and police say that the victim is recovering from his injury.

After the incident, investigators were in the area to canvass and talk to witnesses, but are still working to find a lead and suspect(s).

Anyone with any information, no matter how big or small, is asked to call Sgt. Sipes at 651-266-5760.
