Court hears evidence in second homicide linked to Brooks’ Sandwich House trial

On the second day of testimony in the trial for the 2019 killing of Scott Brooks, a Mecklenburg County judge ruled that evidence from a separate homicide that occurred 32 days later can be used in the trial, as the defendants are allegedly tied to both killings.
