Provo police find large quantity of meth, arrest three, during traffic stop
PROVO, Utah (ABC4) — This week, Provo Police Department conducted a traffic stop, which ended up becoming significant drugs bust.
According to a recent social media post from Provo Police Department (PPD), Patrol Officer Robison conducted a stop on a vehicle for traffic violations on the morning of November 10, 2025. As she was conducting the traffic stop, Officer Robison also observed “suspicious behavior” from the driver and passengers.
One of the passengers reportedly made an admission that gave Officer Robison probable cause to search the vehicle.

The search of the vehicle resulted in PPD officers finding bags filled with methamphetamine and a handgun. In total, the bags of methamphetamine weighed approximately 7lbs, which is equivalent to around $115,000 in street value.
PPD stated that it is suspected the drugs were being trafficked from California and were passing through Utah on their way to a different destination.
Reportedly, all three occupants of the vehicle were arrested and booked into the Utah County Jail. They are facing charges for drug distribution and trafficking charges, along with other related crimes.
