A North Mankato woman was killed in a crash in Decoria Township on Sunday evening, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
Mary Gay Hlavac, 67, was driving a Cadillac XT4 north on Minnesota Highway 22 near mile marker 47 at around 5 p.m. A 56-year-old man was driving a Dodge Ram 1500 south, and the two crashed head-on.
Hlavac was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the Dodge was brought to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
It’s still unclear if one of the vehicles veered into the other lane or what led up to the crash.
