Man shot and killed at home in LaGrange, police say

LAGRANGE, Ga. (WRBL) — The LaGrange Police Department says a man is dead after being shot Sunday night.

Police say on Nov. 9 at 8:35 p.m., officers responded to a residence on Houston Street to a report of shots fired. Upon arrival, officers found Rashidi Grant, 35, unresponsive inside the home. Medical personnel determined Grant was shot and pronounced him dead at the scene.

The Criminal Investigations Division has assumed control of the investigation which remains open and active.

The LaGrange Police Department encourages anyone with information that may assist in the investigation to reach out directly to Detective Scott at 706-883-2620.
