Livingston Parish man arrested on 50 counts of possession of child sexual abuse material
The Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office (LPSO) confirmed Cameron Broussard, 33, was taken into custody as a result of an investigation, which began after a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) about the possession of the alleged illegal material.
Throughout the investigation, detectives obtained evidence that led to an arrest warrant for Broussard, a resident of Walker.
According to LPSO, Broussard was temporarily working in Nederland, Texas. With the help of the Nederland Police Department, Broussard was taken into custody and transported back to Livingston Parish. He was booked at the Livingston Parish Detention Center.
Sheriff Jason Ard said, “During the investigation, additional charges were added to Broussard, where a local victim was located/identified.”
He was additionally charged with eight counts of video voyeurism, victim under the age of 13 years old.
