Burton hosted a benefit concert at the Horseshoe Riverdome, where he was joined by 14-time Grammy winner Emmylou Harris. Fans packed the venue for a night of music and fun, all in support of Bossier Parish Schools.
Thanks to the Burton Foundation, guitars will be donated to local students, giving them the gift of creativity and rock and roll!
“It’s an incredible experience and James knows and you tell here but James knows the importance of young people and music because it helped him in his life so that’s been the goal of the foundation is to be able to give guitars to children, young people so that they can be the next generation musicians like, and be the next James Burton,” said Burton Foundation spokesperson, Janie Landry.
