Carmen Electra named grand marshal for World’s Shortest St. Patrick’s Day Parade

HOT SPRINGS, Ark. — Actress and model Carmen Electra will lead the First Ever 23rd Annual World’s Shortest St. Patrick’s Day Parade in downtown Hot Springs on March 17, organizers announced Sunday.

Electra, known for roles on “Baywatch” and MTV’s “Singled Out,” will serve as celebrity grand marshal for the 98-foot parade, which draws about 30,000 spectators each year. She joins the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, returning for their 12th appearance since 2013.

“Carmen Electra is a star on many levels, and will fit right in with our great little 98-foot parade as we hit the 23rd year of fun and wackiness,” Visit Hot Springs CEO Steve Arrison said.

Electra’s career spans film, television, music and fashion, with credits in comedies such as “Scary Movie” and “Starsky & Hutch.”
