Car crash causes power outage in South Jackson

JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Parts of South Jackson lost power after a car crashed into a power pole.

The crash occurred on Robinson Road Extension near Whitehaven Drive on November 10, 2025.

At the time of the crash, at least 300 customers in the area lost power. The majority of the outages have been restored.

According to Entergy Mississippi, the remaining outages are expected to be restored by 7:30 a.m.

There’s no word on the condition of the driver.
