1 dead in Richmond shooting over weekend

(KRON) — A man was shot and killed Saturday night in Richmond, according to authorities.

The Richmond Police Department responded at 8:09 p.m. to the area of Potrero Avenue and Carlson Boulevard on the report of a shooting. Arriving officers found a man suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.

During the investigation, another individual arrived at a local hospital with a gunshot wound, according to Richmond PD. Authorities said they are working to determine if the second individual was involved in the same shooting incident.

No arrests have been announced in the fatal shooting as of Monday.
