A man who was attacked inside his home during an attempted robbery is in stable condition.
According to the Anoka County Sheriff’s Office, authorities were called to the 1400 block of 47th Avenue North East in Columbia Heights around 10:20 p.m. Friday for a reported break-in.
When the officers arrived at the house, the sheriff’s office said they found an injured man who was taken to the hospital. Authorities said the man was in stable condition.
The sheriff’s office said the injured man was followed into his house by two other men, who intended to rob him. A struggle began between the man and the two suspected robbers in which he sustained his injuries.
At this time, the sheriff’s office said neither suspect has been located.
