BIG COUNTRY, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – 13 counties in the Big Country are under a burn ban, with little to no rain expected.

Meteorologists from Big CountryHomepage.com share their concerns about fire danger at the moment.
“With breezy conditions in the forecast and little to no rain expected, fire weather concerns are likely to remain elevated due to dry fuels. Drought conditions are also likely to worsen as meaningful precipitation stays out of reach,” said KTAB Meteorologist Katalina Bell.
