Operation Christmas Child to host first community packing party event
Local participants for Operation Christmas Child have organized the first ever community packing party event to take place Saturday from 10-noon at The Dels West End located at 1350 Hwy 62W in Mountain Home. The invitation to participate is extended to the entire community with a goal to fill 500 gift boxes to have ready for national collection week which takes place Nov. 17-24.Organizer Shari Alexander was recently a guest on Talk of the Town on KTLO and was asked about this inagural packing party and what their hopes are for the event.

Since 1993 Samaritan’s Purse has been sending shoeboxes filled with gifts and notes of encouragement to children around the world with the Operation Chirstmas Child program.
