Little Rock National Cemetery seeks public donations for veterans’ graves

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Officials with the Little Rock National Cemetery are asking for the public’s help as it moves into the holiday season.

Officials said donations from the public will allow it to have a wreath at every veteran’s grave on Christmas morning.

Donations should be made at ArkansasHonor.com, officials said, adding that every live fur wreath provided will cost $17. Donations are tax-deductible, and donors may specify any of the 25,000 graves in the cemetery for placement.

The deadline for donations is midnight on Thanksgiving, caretakers said, and wreaths will be placed on Dec. 13. The wreath-placing event is open to the public.
