This week’s athlete of the week is Tyreek “Reek” Lonzo.
The Moton Owls’ 14-year-old running back and defensive back had a big-time performance against Schaumburg, with nine carries for 105 yards and three touchdowns.
He also recorded six tackles in the win.
Tyreek is an 8th grader at Moton Lakefront.
He also plays basketball and competes in track & field.
Tyreek is inspired by his favorite athlete, Barry Sanders.
