Two Connecticut men charged after attempting to steal highway exit signs
The Connecticut State Police states that on Wednesday at 8:29 a.m., troopers were sent to I-91 northbound before exit 37 in Windsor for an active larceny of Department of Transportation (DOT) exit signs. Jonathan Riopelle, 46, of Vernon, and Andrew Lampkin, 42, of Vernon, were arrested and charged with the following:
They were both released after posting a $500 bond and are scheduled to appear in Hartford Superior Court on November 21st.
