Salvation Army to host 9th annual Red Kettle Cookoff Friday from 11-1
With the holiday season fast approaching, the Salvation Army is set to host their biggest fundraising event of the year with the Red Kettle Cookoff taking place at Real Life Church located at 1326 Rossi Road in Mountain Home from 11-1. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the Salvation Army store, KTLO studios or at the event.Attendees will have the opportunity to sample food from some of the area’s best chef’s and vote by donating to the red kettle at their food station. All proceeds will help fund all the work the Salvation Army does in this community throughout the year.

Votes are based on the amount of money donated to each vendor’s red kettle and prizes will be awarded for the top three vendors.

Jordan says this kicks off their donation collecting season in a very filling and fulfilling way for attendees and visitors.
