To highlight Spotify’s top artists and tracks, the team at TradingPlatforms aggregated Kworb and Spotify all-time weekly chart data from 73 countries and estimated revenue by multiplying streams by $0.004 (the midpoint of Spotify’s $0.003–$0.005 payout).
BTS members Jimin and Jin have both seen major solo success on Spotify in 2025, but Jimin currently leads by a wide margin. His catalogue has generated $30.5 billion in revenue, about 2.5 times more than Jin’s $12.5 billion, reflecting stronger and more sustained global streaming momentum. Jimin’s 2024 hit ‘Who’ continues to rank among the world’s most-streamed songs, while Jin’s 2025 release ‘Don’t Say You Love Me’ has rapidly climbed the charts, signaling fast-growing listener engagement.
Here are a few key takeaways from the report:
“Even as Jimin and Jin carve out their solo lanes, the numbers show two totally different stories, and both say a lot about where K-pop’s headed,” Stanislava Savisheva, data analyst at Tradingplatforms, said. “Jimin’s already pulling in more than twice Jin’s Spotify revenue, positioning him as the long-game player: steady streams, global reach, serious catalogue value. Jin’s trajectory, meanwhile, is pure adrenaline, massive launches, quick spikes, and enough fan power to light up the charts overnight.
With BTS’s comeback set for 2026, Jimin’s streaming dominance gives him the stability of a legacy act, while Jin’s explosive surges prove there’s still room for wildcards in the mix. Jimin’s the slow-burn streaming king; Jin’s the high-voltage headline act, and together, they’re rewriting the playbook for what solo success looks like in K-pop’s post-group era.”
