American Legion Post 14 hosts Veterans Day Bricks of Honor

SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) — The American Legion Post 14 Bricks of Honor Ceremony is taking place on November 11 at 10 a.m. at their 5315 S Lakeshore Drive facility.

The Bricks of Honor Program is biannual, taking place on Memorial Day and Veterans Day.

The post has created a memorial garden dedicated to the five branches of the United States Military.

The garden serves as a serene place to reflect and extend gratitude to service members.

The community is invited to honor loved ones by purchasing personalized bricks to be placed in the garden as lasting tributes to those who have served.

For more information, contact Elizabeth Sims, American Legion Post 14 Office Manager, at (318) 635-8186 or (318) 505-2938, or via email at alegionpost14@yahoo.com.
