CMPD patrol nets 33 citations, 2 DWI arrests

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department DWI Task Force recently conducted a saturation patrol in the Providence Division.

The operation resulted in 66 traffic stops, 33 citations and two DWI arrests.

DWI saturation patrols aim to prevent impaired driving crashes, save lives and protect everyone on the road.
