Abilene man accused of sexually abusing child under age of 5
Thomas Peebles was booked into the Taylor County Jail for Sexual Abuse of a Child Wednesday in connection to the allegations.
Court documents state the mother of a child under the age of 5 made an outcry to police November 1 after her daughter began exhibiting concerning behavior.
During a subsequent interivew, the documents state this child was able to describe multiple instances of sexual assault when she was in the care of Peebles, and she was also able to demonstrate the instances of assault by using diagrams and dolls.
The child also had visible signs of sexual abuse during a SANE exam, according to the documents.
Peebles now remains held in the Taylor County Jail on a $150,000 bond.
