
SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – Two women have been arrested in connection with an assault that left a victim injured Saturday morning on Youree Drive.
According to SPD, around 9 a.m. on November 1, 2025, Shreveport Police officers responded to Willis-Knighton Pierremont after a woman reported being attacked earlier at 8001 Youree Drive. Investigators say the altercation involved two female suspects and reportedly stemmed from a dispute over an ex-boyfriend.
During the fight, one suspect allegedly struck the victim several times with an iron, causing a nine-inch head laceration that required staples, according to hospital staff.
Detectives identified and arrested both suspects:
- Dyaushaua Jones, 41, charged with Aggravated Battery
- Roshunquel Jackson, 32, charged with Principal to Aggravated Battery
