SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — There was a fatal car crash on I-215 in Salt Lake City on Wednesday afternoon.
Utah Highway Patrol (UHP) shared that there was a single vehicle crash on I-215 West northbound at 300 North.
Currently, the two right lanes are closed and will remain closed for another two hours for the investigation.
UHP told ABC4 that the vehicle, a Chevy SUV, left the road to the right for an unknown reason and struck a tree.
The female driver suffered fatal injuries and male passenger suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
