Shreveport Symphony playing at Great Raft, with Jennifer Koh

On November 6 at 6 p.m., the SSO joins Great Raft Brewing for an evening of music.

The event is open to the public, and admission is pay-what-you-wish. One dollar from every pint supports the SSO.

On November 15 at 7:30 p.m., world-renowned violinist Jennifer Koh joins the SSO to perform Brahms’ Violin Concerto.

Koh was the top medalist in the 1994 Tchaikovsky Competition, received an Avery Fisher Career Grant in 1995, and was a featured performer in the Philip Glass Robert Wilson opera ‘Einstein on the Beach’.

Known for her intensity and technical proficiency, Koh has performed with virtually every major symphony in North America and Europe.
