CHICAGO — Authorities in Chicago are seeking the public’s help in the search for a man who officers say disappeared shortly after arriving in the city on a flight from Michigan last week.

Chicago police say 51-year-old Chad Sweet has been missing since Saturday, Nov 1.

According to officers, Sweet was reported missing just after he arrived in Chicago from Kalamazoo, Michigan, on an American Airlines flight. His flight arrived around 11 a.m. that day, but he has not been contacted since.

Sweet, who has brown hair and blue eyes, stands 5-foot-8 and weighs around 170 pounds.

A photo of Sweet shows him with a goatee, though it is unclear if he had one at the time he went missing.

Police offered details about the missing man’s disappearance in a news release shared on Tuesday night, but did not say what he was last spotted wearing.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of 51-year-old Chad Sweet is asked to contact the CPD Area Five SVU at 312-746-6554 or dial 911.
