“The Millsaps Advantage Scholarship is designed to open the door to a top-tier education for the state’s highest-achieving Pell-eligible students,” said Aaron Pelch, vice president of enrollment and admissions. “By investing in these exceptional students and encouraging them to pursue their education right here at home, we’re working to retain Mississippi’s most promising talent and strengthen the state’s future — while helping each student build a strong foundation for theirs.”
Beginning with the incoming class of Fall 2026, Pell-eligible Mississippi students who apply to Millsaps and meet the academic criteria, including a minimum 3.5 GPA and a 25 or higher ACT score, will be automatically considered for the scholarship.
The award is renewable for four years for students who continue to meet Millsaps’ academic standards.
