Ft. Benning movie theatre to allow free admission, free refreshments with canned good donation on Nov. 8
Lucas Cinemas officials say guests can see either A Minecraft Movie (rated PG) or Sinners (rated R) for free with a canned good or non-perishable food item. Each guest will get a free small popcorn and a free small drink.
All donations will support Fort Benning’s Battle Buddy Resource Center, which helps local soldiers and their families.
“This event is about neighbors helping neighbors – especially those who serve our country” said Jim Lucas, President & CEO of Lucas Cinemas. “We’re excited to offer a fun and meaningful way for the community to come together – whether it’s sharing a movie or lending a helping hand to those in need.”
The Saturday movie features will begin at 10:00 a.m. The event is open to the public, with seating being available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
