Date and time announced for Bluefield, Virginia Veterans Day Ceremony and Parade

BLUEFIELD, VA (WVNS) — A date and time was announced for the annual Veterans Day Ceremony and Parade in Bluefield, Virginia.

According to a press release, the Town of Bluefield, Virginia’s annual Veterans Day Parade will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 8, 2025, and the parade lineup will start at the Aaron’s parking lot on Virginia Avenue at 9:00 a.m. During the parade, members of the public are welcome to recognize active-duty members of the military, veterans, and their families by lining the streets during the parade.

The town is very excited about our 3rd annual Veterans Day Parade. We encourage all veterans to come out and enjoy this celebration of their service as we express our deepest gratitude and recognition.

The press release stated that a Veterans Day Ceremony will be held after the parade by the VFW Post 9696 at First United Methodist Church, located at 200 S. College Avenue in Bluefield, Virginia at 11:00 a.m. Colonel Matthew Hanson, United States Air Force, will be the special guest speaker at the ceremony, and will recognize the service and sacrifice of those who serve.
