Arlonzo Williams Jr., 26, was charged with one count of second-degree murder, three counts of second-degree attempted murder and one count of illegally possessing ammunition/firearm.
Court records state that on Oct. 7 at 11:36 p.m., officers responded to a shooting inside Bar Zia in downtown Minneapolis and found four people with gunshot wounds.
One victim, later identified as 21-year-old DaMarco Fletcher Jr., was shot multiple times in his torso and head and was pronounced dead on the scene.

According to court records, the other three victims were shot in their lower bodies and are all expected to survive.
Officers found at least 13 .40-caliber discharged casings on the dance floor of the bar, and a witness told authorities that the gunman focused his gunfire on Fletcher, with errant shots hitting the other three victims.
According to court documents, Williams and two other people arrived at the bar, were patted down by security for weapons and given a wristband to gain access. Over the next half hour, Williams and one of the other people left and re-entered the bar multiple times, with security not checking them again for weapons.
Just after 11:30 p.m., Fletcher arrived at the bar, and one Williams’ accomplices “sucker punched” Fletcher multiple times, the criminal complaint says. Williams then pulled out a gun and shot at Fletcher from less than three feet away.
Williams and the other two people he was with left the bar without being arrested, the complaint adds.
Investigators said that Williams and his two accomplices are known to be active members of the Lows gang in north Minneapolis.
Court records show that Williams has four previous felony convictions for first-degree aggravated robbery from 2015, which prohibit him from possessing a gun or ammunition.
Williams made his first appearance in court on Tuesday and is currently in custody at the Hennepin County Jail. His next court appearance is scheduled for Dec. 8.
