LOOKING AHEAD: Temperatures and dew points will steadily rise through the end of the week. The increase in warmer air and Gulf moisture will help it to feel a little more like spring at the end of this week. Patchy fog may develop during the pre-dawn hours on Thursday, but will clear by mid-morning. Friday will feel very muggy as dew point temperatures climb to the upper 60s, which is fairly high for this time of year. A few showers will be possible Friday afternoon and evening. Looking further out, a very strong cold front will move through on Sunday, bringing with it cold polar air. That means highs in the 50s and lows in the 30s early next week and the potential for our first frost and freeze of the season.
