Baseus’ solar-powered dash cam is down to its best price yet
If you’ve ever had to leave your car parked for a few days while traveling — or returned to find a new dent that wasn’t there before — Baseus’
The dash cam stands out thanks to its built-in solar panel, which extends the rechargeable battery’s life so it can keep recording for up to 14 days even when your car’s parked and turned off. When the system detects motion or an impact, it automatically turns on to capture 30-second clips from both the front and rear cameras. It can then store up to 40 clips (or 20 incidents) on the included 32GB microSD card, which you can upgrade if you need more space. Just note that you’ll need good lighting to get up to 14 days, so an underground garage can reduce battery life.
Aside from keeping an eye on your car when you’re away, the PrimeTrip VD1 Pro is also useful while driving. Its 4K front camera offers a wide 170-degree field of view for continuous recording, while a secondary 1080p rear camera features a 120-degree field of view for capturing what’s happening behind you.
