Arkansas lawmakers remember former Vice President Dick Cheney
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — Lawmakers in the Natural State are remembering former U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney, who died on Monday at the age of 84.

“His beloved wife of 61 years, Lynne, his daughters, Liz and Mary, and other family members were with him as he passed,” Cheney’s family said in a statement released Tuesday morning. “The former Vice President died due to complications of pneumonia and cardiac and vascular disease.”

On Tuesday, multiple Arkansas officials took to social media to share condolences and remember Chaney.

Cheney was the 46th vice president of the United States, serving under George W. Bush. He also served as a congressman representing Wyoming, White House chief of state and secreatary of defense.
