13 men charged after online child sex crimes investigation, Livingston Parish sheriff says

BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — The Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested 13 men accused of online child sex crimes.

TV personality Chris Hansen teamed up with the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office and other agencies, including the ICAC Task Force, the Louisiana Attorney General’s Office, and sheriff’s offices from Ascension and East Baton Rouge. Their efforts led to investigations that resulted in the arrest of 13 men on social media platforms.

“This was an investigation in collaboration with Chris Hansen. Though thirteen (13) individuals were taken into custody in Livingston Parish, only two (2) individuals lived in Livingston Parish. Six (6) individuals were from surrounding parishes. Five (5) individuals were from other states. Learn from this: the internet has NO boundaries. Child predators will go to any length to exploit children,” Sheriff Jason Ard said.

Almost all were arrested on indecent behavior with a juvenile and computer-aided solicitation of a minor charges:
