Many parents in the school district are making plans for what to do with their kids if the teachers strike.Steve Dziedzic has two kids who attend Minneapolis schools, and he’s planning on bringing the kids to their grandmother’s home, along with using rec centers if teachers walk off the job.
“It’s like a Hail Mary at the end of a football game,” Dziedzic said. “We’re going to be scrambling. We’ll just have to be ready for whatever comes. Hopefully it doesn’t.”
