Bronson Haez Edgerton, 39, was arrested on suspicion of threatening with or using a dangerous weapon in a fight, a class A misdemeanor, and disorderly conduct, an infraction.
According to the probable cause affidavit, the incident happened at around 1 a.m. on Sunday, November 2. Police were called to the West Jordan In-N-Out for a weapons offense, where multiple witnesses reported observing a man, later identified as Edgerton, wielding a knife at a group of customers inside the restaurant.
Witnesses told police that the customers were arguing, and during the fight, Edgerton pulled out a knife.
Reportedly, one of the customers felt threatened by the knife, and they drew a gun in self-defense. The altercation did not lead to any physical violence, and the police did not report any injuries.
Edgerton was booked into the Salt Lake County Jail on November 2, where he is being held on $2,500 bond.
In March 2025, Edgerton was charged with felony disorderly conduct and threat of violence. He pleaded no contest to the charges, and they were amended to misdemeanors. According to court documents, he has been charged with similar minor crimes on multiple occasions this year.
